For a few days we were thinking of traveling somewhere since it was quite a long time that we have returned from Arunachal Pradesh. Though it took few months to come out of Arunachal’s dream, but now we are ready for our next venture. But desperados, our team, has only one problem and that is it doesn’t want to explore any other place than mountains. Sometimes I think that why should I go for world tour as god has already given us a Heaven, the Himalaya and its splendid beauty. Every time when we get time we rush towards the Himalaya. So, we decided that this 15th August holiday we would be spending in Noth Bengal. But where? If it were in my hands then I would rather prefer to climb Khanchendjongha . Anyways we had only 3 days to spend but were not getting ideas where we could go and return within three days. But suddenly two places name Lava and Rishop came to our attention. That night with the help of google we made it sure that our next tour will be Lava & Rishop. In this short tour our team strength became 8 - desperados, Bubai who missed Arunachal Pradesh, Atindra my college friend and Moynak whom I met at Cognizant.

Unknown stream on the way to Lava |
On 12th of august we started our journey from Sealdah Station. Our train was at 7:35
pm and I was about to miss that train because of Kolkata’s traffic jam, as usual. But I made my appearance just like a filmy hero by running a kilometer and reaching just when train was about to leave. Train journey has
always been always a thrilling for me, side upper births are made exactly matching my height. Only people with my height can sleep comfortably on a side upper and above all, toilet's smell and howker's hospitality made our night more pleasant. We reached NJP at 8 o’clock. There we hired a car and headed for Lava. In between we
stopped in front of an unknown stream, pardon me for I have forgotten the name of the stream, but that was so beautiful that one cannot just pass by without looking at her. we took some photograph and spent some time and again
resumed out journey.

In front of that steam |
By 1 o’clock we reached Lava. From there we decided to trek till Rishop. Actually Lava is base of a hill and Rishop is at the top. Trek path was 4km long and it usually takes 3 hours, but after starting the trek we were actually praying that we would Rishop before sun set. Initially Ronee was the slowest person in our team. The way he had started journey, felt like he already booked his whole day for this trek. Anyway we managed to finish our trek within time and though initially we felt exhausted but gradually we mixed up with nature and forgot our tiredness. In the evening we had a small booze party where out motto was to pull each other’s leg.

Two dogs became our guide during trekking. |
Our next day's journey was to see Changey falls. But that time we didn't thought that there were things awaiting for us which we hadn't
bargained for. Yes, I am talking about the road to reach Changey falls. I think this road is made for testing all armored tanks for war. Driving on this road was similar to sailing your boat in a high tide. In two hours of
journey we’ve lived every bit of our life. Thanks to our car driver that we escaped from Davy jones' locker.

Then slowly we reached at the foot of Changey falls. What a falls … what a falls. Everyone’s comment regarding Changey were completely
different than what we saw. People say that Changey is not even a falls, probably they don’t come at rainy season to see her beauty. Changey falls at rainy season reaches at the peak of her beauty by spraying her surroundings with a delicate mist of water. Spending time in front of Changey came out to be the best time spent during this tour. We were not able to take close photos because of water.

One of my memorable moments in my life. |
Now after saying bye-bye to Changey falls we went to Lolegaon via Delo, though we halted
at Delo but were not able to see anything because of fog. We reached Lolegaon at 7 O’clock in the evening. So, nothing was left except the booze party. As usual we had started our booze party at right time.

On 15th of august and we’ve got one information that in Kalingpong a big independence festival would be held. But this info did not influenced us to visit Kalingpong, what really inspired us was all girls will be in festive mood wearing sexy dresses, roaming the whole town. So, without any hesitation we devoted our precious holiday to those beautiful girls.

On the way to Kalingpong. |
One thing I must say, in India, only north east people know how to walk comfortably wearing a sexy dress. Despite of their poverty and difficulties they maintain their life style
in such a way that at a glance you’ll feel that these people are richest people in India. Anyway, we spent great time here, I took lots of picture of girls without their even realizing(here my digital camera with 15X zoom
becomes handy). After enjoying a full day in Kalingpong we returned back to NJP

Happy Independence Day |
These three days went like a cyclone. But we must say these three days we lived our life how it should be. But now again we resume our daily life schedule more specifically a
struggle for survival.
